The Memphis and Shelby County Law Enforcement Foundation sponsored last week’s Forensic Training Class for the Bartlett Police Department. Representatives from their Traffic Unit, Crime Scene Unit and Investigative Services Division were participating in advanced training which will enable them to better deploy their Crime Scene Laser Scanner which was obtained through partnership with the foundation.

Fundraiser for the 2018 MPD Annual Awards Ceremony LuncheonMayor Strickland and Director Rallings provided a public safety and MPD update and answered questions from the group. Director Rallings thanked everyone for supporting the breakfast which raised funds for the 2018 Memphis Police Department Annual Awards Ceremony Luncheon, before beginning his presentation of technology used by MPD.

Director Rallings thanked everyone for supporting the breakfast which raised funds for the 2018 Memphis Police Department Annual Awards Ceremony Luncheon. He explained the awards ceremony honors the hard work and dedication provided in public safety and described various awards to be presented noting photos of award recipients placed in the center of each table.
